Description de l'offre

§  The Asset Department Manager reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company.

§  She/He has comprehensive and proactive approach to asset management that utilizes data to gain insights, refines risk assessments, and propose preventive and actions to safeguard the asset portfolio's long-term value. She/He manages the dissemination of information to Executive management in the most accessible way possible.

§  She/He manages a team responsible (multi technical skills) for steering the medium- and long-term works program in line with the results of expertise on the state of the industrial assets, for managing and for reporting on a portfolio of projects.

§  She/He manages a portfolio of services for expertise, technical support, project owner and project manager assistance in the industrial and non-industrial fields for any technical fields.

§  She/He acts as contract manager for the portfolio of construction services entrusted to Her/Him.

§  She/He manages major technical issues specific to maintaining operational performance over the long term.

§  She/He is the project manager for the preparation of transfer of the facilities at the end-of-concession to the authorities in the technical field, in line with the "end-of-concession" project organization set up by the company.

§  She/He monitors the suppliers' panel and the practices of comparable companies.

§  She/He acts as a team animator and defines, in agreement with the COO, the annual directions and priorities of the Department, to meet the industrial challenges of the Company. She/He is responsible for the technical reference framework, the quality of the deliverables produced by Her/His department, and compliance with the standards and organizations chosen. She/He chairs the Technical Committee, which is responsible for steering the company's industrial strategy (validation of the technical reference framework, validation of studies and modifications, validation of technical decisions...).

§  She/He is a member of the Management Team of the Technical Branch of NTPC and is a source of proposals for organizational changes to be implemented.

§  She/He is proactive in benchmarking and outsourcing new potential technical (local) partnerships: providers, manufacturers, contractors, engineering companies, technical consultants.

§  She/He is accountable for Technical Service Agreement management.

§  She/He is in charge with promoting innovation in Technical Branch and support the corporate innovation process.

Profil souhaité

Required Professional Profile
§  Significant experience in managing industrial facilities (Maintenance / Engineering / Operation)  and projects in a field of demanding contractual constraints;

§  Financial and cost-control acumen;

§  Strong understanding of asset management principles, practices and methodology;

§  Ability to anticipate and identify medium- and long-term challenges, with an appetite for managing a diverse team (technicians and engineers) with large scope (studies and implementation);

§  Expected to transfer skills, track team activities, and report;

§  First expatriation experience is accepted as long as the candidate demonstrates adaptability.

Qualities
§  The candidate must demonstrate a great capacity for adaptation, rigor, and listening to adapt to challenges and contingencies in a multicultural and contractual context (clients, shareholders, Laotian government);

§  Leadership, multi-technical, and communication skills;

§  Good in formalization concepts, requirements and reports, Strong ability to summarize

§  Autonomy and stress resilience are required,

§  Ability to self-challenging and proactive suggestion to improvement,

§  Fluent English is required.

Conditions
Position: Asset Department Manager, Technical Branch

Region, Country: South-East Asia, Laos

Work Location: Site-based position at the Nam Theun 2 Hydropower Plant in central Laos, Gnommalath city, Khammouane Province

§  1 hour's drive from Thakhek city (population 20,000)

§  2 hours' drive from Nakhon Phanom Airport (Thailand)

§  6 hours' drive from Vientiane (capital of Laos)

Accommodation: Accommodation, food, and medical care to international standards at the Nam Theun Residence.
