Brice Bohuon will be joining EDF on 10 April 2023 as Group Senior Executive Vice-President and Group General Secretary, subject to the approval of the High Authority for Transparency in Public Life (HATVP). He takes over from Pierre Todorov, who has fulfilled these duties since 2015, and has opted to exercise his right to retirement.
Brice Bohuon, 44, is a graduate of the Ecole des Mines of Paris and the Paris Institute of Political Studies, and an Ecole Nationale d’Administration alumnus. He began his professional career in 2007, working in the Conseil d’État (Council of State) as judge and Government adviser, taking up the post of Deputy General Secretary there in 2010. In 2013, he joined SNCF Transilien, serving successively as General Secretary and then Marketing and Services Director. In 2017, he was appointed General Director of the Energy Regulation Commission, before joining Transdev France in 2019 as Deputy General Director. He had been Deputy General Director for the Île-de-France region since 2021.
Brice Bohuon will join the EDF Group’s Executive Committee on 10 April 2023 and will take up the position of Group General Secretary. In this role, he will be responsible for coordinating the company’s Legal, Audit and Risk Departments, the Public and European Affairs Departments as well as the Security and Economic Intelligence Department.
Brice Bohuon takes over from Pierre Todorov, who has opted to exercise his right to retirement.
A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure and the École Nationale d'Administration, and holder of n advanced teaching degree in philosophy, Pierre Todorov began his career in 1986 at the Conseil d'État, before joining the Lagardère Group in 1990, where he held a number of management positions. From 1997 to 2008, he was General Secretary of the Accor Group, before becoming a partner in the law firm Hogan Lovells. In 2011, he joined PSA Peugeot Citroën as General Secretary, a position he held until 2014. Pierre Todorov has been EDF group General Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee since 2015
