EDF Hydro in the South-West of France, has 874 employees in charge of the operation, engineering, control and maintenance of 100 dams and 121 hydroelectric power plants in 10 départements. Every year, it produces an average of 6 TWh of carbon-free electricity, equivalent to the annual consumption of around 2.5 million people.
