Club France is THE place to celebrate French athletes. From July to September, come celebrate and discover the EDF Team while taking a different look at sport, thanks to the activities on offer in the EDF spaces.

For the duration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, La Villette will be the scene of a non-stop party, from 10am to 2am! Every day, the medallists will come here to share their exploits with the public. The atmosphere will be just right: artists and DJs will take turns on the outdoor lawn and on the stage of the Grande Halle.

With a capacity of 20,000 people per day, Club France will be able to welcome up to 700,000 people over the entire period (July 27 to August 11, then August 29 to September 8).

As a Premium Partner, EDF will be present in two dedicated areas of 160m² and 150m², outside and inside the Grande Halle. On the program: immersive animations and meetings with Team EDF athletes.

The outdoor space: innovations to measure yourself against the EDF Team athletes

A reactivity test

Can you get out of the starting blocks with the same explosiveness as Sasha Zhoya, 110 m hurdles specialist and member of Team EDF? Measure your reaction time on an athletics track equipped with screens, allowing you to see Sasha run alongside you! The event is accessible to all, including wheelchair users.

A relaxation test

Jump as high as you can, without momentum, and trust our sensors placed in the basketball court racket. Thanks to the advice of Laëtitia Guapo, 3x3 basketball player and member of Team EDF, you'll have three tries to beat your dry-stress record...

A penalty shot

Scoring a goal sounds simple enough, especially when you've got three tries. Problem: you're up against a goalkeeper like no other, with almost unbeatable reaction speed... To rise to the challenge, choose your discipline carefully: handball, wheelchair handball, soccer, cecifoot...

Indoor space: where sport meets art and digital technology

Impossible to miss: at the entrance to the Grande Halle, the 4 giant screens in the indoor area will be broadcasting content linked to Team EDF's performances.

Open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., the space will also offer a different way of discovering the sport, with:

  • two works of art -by Le Diamantaire- based on solar and wind energy;
  • an interactive photo booth, where you can take your own photo with Team EDF athletes;
  • a virtual reality armchair race, a true-to-life experience that pits you against the best Paralympic athletes in a 100m sprint;
  • a digital fencing wall, where you can test your reactivity with a sword, just like Romain Cannone, French epéiste and member of Team EDF.

Moments not to be missed

After each medal, come and share in the athletes' emotions and celebrate their performances!

Outside the competitions, you can also meet the Team EDF athletes. Present at the EDF events, they will also be sharing this unique atmosphere with their fans on the networks.

And every day will have its own musical program: Bob Sinclar, Flavia Coelho, Hervé and many others will be there to make these Games a great party!
