Description of the offer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team, focusing on Configuration Management (CM) and Requirement Management (RM). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and consistency of project configuration and requirements throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

You will be in charge of :

Configuration Management (CM):
Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
Establish and maintain a configuration management database (CMDB) to track configuration items (CIs) and their relationships.
Coordinate and conduct configuration audits to ensure compliance with CM policies and procedures.
Manage version control of project documents, designs, and software releases.
Facilitate configuration control board (CCB) meetings to evaluate and approve changes to the project baseline.
Requirement Management (RM):
Elicit, document, and validate project requirements from stakeholders.
Develop and maintain a requirements management plan, outlining processes and tools for requirements capture, tracking, and validation.
Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, from initial capture through testing and delivery.
Conduct requirements reviews and obtain stakeholder approval.
Manage changes to requirements and assess the impact of changes on project scope, schedule, and resources.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure CM and RM processes are integrated into overall project plans.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates on CM and RM activities.
Identify and mitigate risks related to configuration and requirements management.
Support project documentation efforts, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance CM and RM processes.
Stay current with industry best practices and tools for configuration and requirements management.
Job Specifics

Strong understanding of CM and RM principles, standards, and best practices.
Proficiency with CM and RM tools (e.g., JIRA, DOORS, Git).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Meetings at Customer’s are likely to happen over the project lifecycle
Interactions / Meetings with / at the contractors to implement the CM policy throughout the Project

Desired profile

Mandatory (MUST)

5 years of working experience in Project Engineering / Project Engineering Management / Mechanical Engineer or multidisciplinary on EPC contracts like
 

Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)

Working experience in CM / RM subject matters

Behavioural and/or Technical Know-how

Experienced with the handling of Quality/Regulatory/Contractual documentation of the EPC Projects
