The EDF Group's global framework agreement on social and environmental responsibility for the period 2025-2030 was signed on January 27, 2025, unanimously by the 20 trade union organizations.
Following on from the previous agreement (covering the period 2018-2024), this new agreement sets a common base of commitments for all EDF Group companies and employees to ensure respect for human rights and reinforces EDF's commitments to social and environmental issues. The Group's first global CSR agreement was signed in 2005.

The agreement signed today includes new components relating to environmental issues, the impact of digital transformation and the strengthening of the duty of care. More concretely, the EDF Group is notably committed to having a positive and decisive impact on a sustainable energy transition in France and in the countries in which it operates, by reducing, for example, its direct CO₂ emissions by 80%. The Group is also committed to supporting the introduction of new technologies, including AI, by preparing the digital skills of tomorrow and by supporting all employees in the use of these new digital tools.
