Acting for equal opportunities and helping anyone unleash their potential

In a world where too many people struggle to find their place in society, the EDF Group Foundation acts for equal opportunities. It opens doors for those who want to empower themselves and helps them unleash their potential.

As part of its new mandate (2024-2028), the Foundation has decided to support projects in France and abroad that enable everyone to express their potential despite social, geographical or cultural obstacles, and that encourage action for a more responsible society.
It supports impactful public interest projects that create value and a positive dynamic for society and the various beneficiaries:

  • by supporting the social and professional integration of challenged youth and adults through education and training: assisting with orientation, developing vocations, remobilizing and promoting access to training and employment, and promoting access to international education thanks to electricity;
  • by encouraging self-sufficiency through the development of critical thinking and judgment via exposure to art and culture. It organizes free contemporary art exhibitions held both at the Espace Fondation EDF in Paris and elsewhere to engage young people and the general public on social issues;
  • by taking action to develop responsible behavior in support of a fair transition: sustaining eco-citizen initiatives in France and around the world, by staying as close as possible to the populations.

The Espace Fondation EDF, a unique cultural centre with free admission for all

Based in Paris in a former substation built in 1910, the EDF Group Foundation offers temporary exhibitions on social issues through the eyes and creations of contemporary artists. Awaken the critical mind, offer a better understanding of the world… This is the aim of the conferences, animations and guided tours offered for school students and the general public. Now travelling in France and abroad, exhibitions are accessible to the greatest number
