For its first big exhibition of 2016, the EDF Bazacle Complex highlighted Toulouse heritage through the history and expertise of the Théatre du Capitole.
For more than 3 months, the EDF Bazacle Complex welcomed treasures from the Opera, Ballet and Orchestra in a plush musical atmosphere. Costumes, tutus, decorations, wigs, accessories and instruments were gathered for the wonderment of young and old.

Following exhibitions in Rome, Milan, Venice, Los Angeles, Vienna, London and Paris (at l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura), the EDF Bazacle Complex welcomes the “Vivere alla Ponti” to Toulouse with the support of the EDF Foundation and EDISON, an EDF Group subsidiary in Italy.
The exhibition gathered unpredicted projects, designs, drafts and photographs from the archives of the Italian architect Gio Ponti’s more than a half century of activity. Similar to his French contemporary, Le Corbusier, Gio Ponti is the founder of Italian design. His style melds classic and modern architecture elements and his projects were audacious for the era with a revolutionary graphic identity, all completed with artistic talent and a remarkable aesthetic that inspired cubism.

Over several decades, Street Art has taken over the roads and explored different forms and technics: graffiti, stencil, stickers, brushes, aerosol, installations, video projections, etc.
Now known as a contemporary art movement, it has unlimited expression in the city. Through this exhibition – coming from a call for projects, EDF shone a light on these talents of the night.

For the International Year of Light, Science Animation Midi-Pyrénées and EDF have organized an interactive exhibition on light in partnership with specialised scientific laboratories in Toulouse. Through 20 sensory experiences, the exhibition assists in the understanding, in a fun and unique way, scientific phenomenon related to light.
