A set of test facilities dedicated to cables and their accessories testing

Several outdoor long duration testing areas for long buried loops up to 220 m, from LV up to 90kV / 2000 A.

Test facilities enabling to meet requirements of pre-qualification tests, type tests and thermo-mechanical tests.

An HVDC testing hall with a 1 MV DC generator.

Additional facilities : corrosion, mechanical tests, shrinkage, RAC measurements (skin effect), connectors test benches for electric ageing.

simulate the extreme operating conditions of cables and accessories to accelerate electrical ageing and to test its endurance.

1 MV HVDC Hall

is used for the dielectric test under thermal stress of DC cables up to 320 kV.

Electromagnetic Compatibility aims to guarantee the ability of an electronic or electrical system to function in its electromagnetic environment and without itself producing intolerable disturbances for other devices present in its environment.

an industrial frequency voltage source of 24 kV (2Uo).
CIMA 3 dielectric tests with single or three-phases voltage transformers (voltage up to 75 kV) and thermal endurance tests (heating cycles up to 4000 A)
