Christophe Salomon has been appointed Head of Information Systems at the EDF Group replacing Jean-Claude Laroche who will be taking over the same position at Enedis.
At age 43, Christophe Salomon is an Armaments Engineer and a graduate of the French Ecole Polytechnique and Sup’Aéro.
He joined the Ministry of Defence in 1999 where he held various management positions in the field of information systems, notably for the DGA (French Government Defence Procurement Agency).
His major achievement involved launching and steering the largest ever military information system – the Information Systems for the Armed Forces - which played an essential role in the complete digital transformation of the Defence Ministry.
He then joined the office of the Minister of Defence, Jean-Yves Le Drian, in 2012 as an advisor on technical matters and then industrial affairs. Christophe subsequently joined the EDF Group.
