In a meeting on 27 July 2017 and at the suggestion of the Chairman of the EDF Group Corporate Foundation, Jean-Bernard Lévy, the EDF Group Corporate Foundation’s Board of Directors decided to appoint Laurence Lamy as its new Managing Director, replacing Hugues Renson.
Laurence Lamy, aged 49 and a graduate of the IEP in Paris, joined the EDF Group in 1993.
She has been in charge of a number of projects promoting social and managerial innovation in different areas (Distribution, Customers, Generation, Finance, Group University) and countries in which the Group is involved (France, Poland, United Kingdom, China).
Since 2014, she had been Senior Executive Career Manager at EDF Generation and Engineering within the Group’s HR Department.
In her managerial positions and in the field of human resources, she has always demonstrated her commitment to nurturing human capital and her determination to engage and develop the talents of individual employees.
In her new role as Managing Director within the EDF Group Corporate Foundation, she will be able to draw on the efforts and skills of the Group’s employees for the successful completion of public-interest projects promoting solidarity and progress.
