Perfesco is a company that has emerged from EDF Pulse Incubation entrepreneurial programme.
Perfesco offers a solution enabling manufacturers to reduce their carbon footprint and energy consumption. To this end, the startup finances its customers' energy efficiency projects, which means they have nothing to finance. Perfesco then reimburses itself from the energy savings achieved and measured.
The French startup audits sites and identifies energy-saving areas. The company then finances and implements the associated energy efficiency work.
Perfesco's areas of expertise include lighting, electric motors and furnace heating. In addition, the startup finances specific projects in certain cases.
EDF Pulse Ventures invested in the company at its creation, in 2014.
The best energy is the energy we don't use. The first step towards reducing our carbon footprint is therefore to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. One of the main ways of doing this is for businesses, and industry in particular, to improve the energy efficiency of their installations. With Perfesco, EDF is supporting industrial companies in their energy transition by financing their energy efficiency projects.
