The 2024 winners
On July 18th, 2024, the winners of the EDF Pulse Awards were honored at a ceremony presided over by Luc Rémont, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of EDF. With 144 start-ups from 20 countries, this year's event highlighted the dynamism of innovative project leaders who contribute to decarbonisation efforts. Discover the three winning start-ups.

Orus Energy
"Empowering the customer to take control of their decarbonisation" category winner, This data-driven electricity flexibility platform invites commercial building managers to shift their energy consumption away from peak periods in exchange for financial compensation.

Eco Wave Power
"Developing profitable decentralised energy system" category winner, this start-up proposes a technology for generating electricity from ocean waves.

Aerleum
"Developing solutions for carbon capture, utilisation and offsetting" category winner, this start-up proposes a technology combining the capture and conversion of CO₂ to produce synthetic fuels.
The jury also awarded two Special prizes

Marny Energy
Special Prize in the category "Developing profitable decentralised energy system", this start-up proposes a solution for reusing electric vehicle batteries in sustainable energy storage and distribution systems on an industrial scale.

Grims Energies
Special Prize in the category "Developing solutions for carbon capture, utilisation and offsetting", this start-up proposes a technology using water at less than 100°C to capture, recover and store waste heat in a compact, modular way.
